Overview
A number of major security updates for both Microsoft and Apple devices have recently been made available which should be applied in order to best protect yourself from known threats.
Some of the security updates available protect against issues that may have been, or are
known to have been, actively exploited.

This month’s Microsoft ‘Patch Tuesday’ addresses 60 vulnerabilities, some of which have been classified as ‘Critical’ whilst the remainder have been classified as ‘Moderate’ and ‘Important’. This includes patches for the recent MSHTML remote code execution and PrintSpooler vulnerabilities.

Apple has also released a number of security updates for all the main Operating Systems (iOS, macOS, watchOS, iPadOS) and some services/software (iCloud, Safari).
